Basket Making Gathering – 17 July 2022 – Sullivan County Conservation District

The Eco Center greeted over 65 visitors who came out during this warm July day that was surrounded by 2200 acers of a beautiful conservancy, a large flower, herbs, garden overlooking a calming pond covered by colorful butterflies in flight.

Koasek Member Jonathan Kelly & Almost Legal Rock Group

Jonathan is the son of Frank and Lorelie Kelly of Grapeland Texas. Jonathan’s Abenaki name is: “Seedof Rock and Roll,” Abenaki Language – Min asen ligwPronunciation– Min – asin – lig-wa.
He and the band presented Chief Paul with an autographed band T-shirt where he will induct into our tribal archives/museum.
